About the Literary Author

Sharon Thompson was born in Jamaica in the parish of Portland. She attended Elim Agricultural High School where she was nurtured by some of the most inspirational teachers. After graduating from Elim she worked as an Agricultural Officer with the Revolving Loan Program in her home parish of Portland.
She migrated toThe United States in the nineties, shortly thereafter she obtained her license as a Registered Nurse.
In 2021, she turned to one of her passions, which is writing short stories for children. She has written two children's books so far, Stripe N Strong and Peasy The Potbellied Pig.
